President Trump has responded to the statement by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes on claims Trump was wiretapped by the previous Obama Administration.
Rep. Devin Nunes earlier indicated that the Obama Administration had collected Trump’s personal communications during the 2016 President election (as reported here). Nunes felt compelled to released the reports due to what he described as “alarming” behavior by the FBI and previous administration.
When asked if he felt “vindicated”. President Trump indicated that he did “somewhat”.
Adding, “I very much appreciate the fact that they found what they found,” he added.
