Since November 8th election Donald Trump has been hard at work putting together his team that will make America great again. One position that everyone has been eagerly awaiting is who will fill the supreme court justice roll left vacant since the passing of Justice Antonin Scalia on February 12th this year.
One name that has been circulating since his death is that of Fox presenter Judge Jeanine and sources close to Donald Trump have confirmed that she is in the running for that position.
However some may ask “Who exactly is Judge Jeanine?
Jeanine Ferris Pirro was born in Elmira, New York, to Nasser “Leo” and Esther Ferris. Her father was a mobile-home salesman; her mother was a department-store model. Both her parents are first-generation Lebanese Americans. Pirro says she was taunted for being Middle-Eastern growing up, with other kids calling her ‘Camel Jockey’ and ‘Fat Lips’.However, now Pirro is proud of her Middle-Eastern identity
She graduated from Notre Dame High School in three years rather than the usual four. She then graduated with a B.A. (magna cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa membership) from the University at Buffalo. She received her J.D. degree at Albany Law School of Union University in 1975.
In 1975, Jeanine Pirro was appointed an Assistant District Attorney (ADA) in New York’s Westchester County. During her career as an ADA, Jeanine Pirro established a reputation as a fighter and skilled prosecutor with a 100% conviction rate, including murder, rape and violent felonies. Jeanine Pirro created one of the first Domestic Violence Units in the nation recognizing the needs of women and children crime victims.
In November 1990, Jeanine Pirro was elected Westchester County Court Judge. She was the first female county judge elected in that county’s history. In November 1993, Pirro was elected Westchester County District Attorney. She was the first woman to hold that position in Westchester County. She was re-elected in 1997 and 2001. She became the first female president of the New York State District Attorneys Association. As District Attorney, Jeanine Pirro was appointed by then Governor George Pataki to chair the New York State Commission on Domestic Violence Fatality Review Board. Its findings resulted in legislation increasing protections for domestic violence victims and families.
We at Freedom Liberty News would fully support Judge Jeanine been appointed as supreme court Justice and believe she would uphold her strong Conservative values needed for this country to become great again.
