God bless our police! Where would we be without them. They work day and night to keep ourselves and our families safe, constantly ready for put their lives on the line for us. Bless them. And in a moment that truly makes us thankful, was the quick decision making and thinking of Texas Officer Glenn Womack of Glenn Heights.
Officer Womack had just finished having dinner with his wife when he received a dispatch that sent him to a local Jack in the Box. Sitting in the drive-thru lane, too close to the building for comfort, was a Ford F150 pouring smoke from the cab which was engulfed in flames.
Womack didn’t even hesitate to act – bypassing customers in the drive-thru he mounted the curb and used his patrol car to push the car-on-fire away from the building. He saved it from catching fire and saved a whole ton of lives!
“My adrenaline was going a little bit. But in the video, I’ve watched it a couple of times, I’m breathing pretty heavily. Well, that’s because the windows were down and I didn’t have the train of thought to roll the windows up during it,” Officer Womack told Fox4 News. “It was just a God-send that I was here at that particular time.”
