Sarah Palin Is Suing The New York Times – She’s Had Enough Of The Lies: Do You Support Her?

On the day that CNN was pushed to the edge of extinction, Sarah Palin took at huge blow to the New York Times!

She has sued the New York Times for running an editorial on June 14 of this year, which falsely connected her to the shooting of Representative Gabby Giffords where 6 others were killed, in 2011. And she hired Hulk Hogan’s legal team to help her!

Attorneys Ken Turkel, Shane Vogt, and S. Preston Ricardo said in a statement upon filing suit in Federal Court on Sarah Palin’s behalf:

“Today, Sarah Palin took a stand against The New York Times Company by filing a lawsuit which seeks to hold The Timesaccountable for stating that Governor Palin is part of a ‘sickeningly familiar pattern’ of politically motivated violence and that she incited the horrific 2011 shooting of Representative Gabby Giffords, a tragedy where the gunman seriously wounded numerous people and killed 6, including a federal judge and a 9-year-old girl.”

Palin claims the editorial “exceeded the bounds of legality, decency and civility by publishing the false and defamatory column.” She is seeking a minimum of $75,000 in damages.

In the NYT’s editorial, which has since been updated, the editors claimed there was a “clear” link to incitement between Jared Loughner’s attempted assassination of Giffords, and a map Palin had created that placed crosshairs over districts that Republicans needed to flip in the 2012 election. No such link exists.

Hell yes! Go Sarah!
