Thank God for Sean Hannity. The Fox News presenter always put things into perspective, and today he came out in full support for the President after Republicans failed to repeal and replace ObamaCare after seven years of promising to do so.
As part of his opening monologue tonight, Hannity went over why the GOP health care bill was pulled, and what can be done in the future to make sure this never happens again.
“This is not President Trump’s failure,” Hannity said. “The president went above and beyond, did everything in his power to get this bill across the finish line.”
Hannity put the black of the bill’s failure on House Republicans who failed to gather support within the party before moving on with the bill.
“Make sure the bill is not released until you have consensus on the bill,” Hannity said. “This would take a lot of the ugliness out of the process.”
Hannity correctly believes that the party should have brought in all the factions of the GOP, from conservatives to moderates, from the Tuesday Group to the Freedom Caucus.
“One thing’s clear: Voters were not served well in this process. But you’ll have time for a do-over.”
